"Don't wish me happiness I don't expect to be happy all the time....It's gotten beyond that somehow. Wish me courage and strength and a sense of humor. I will need them all." Anne Morrow Lindbergh

Angel

In the last couple of months I read three dog books - each on a different breed but it was the maltese that won my heart. The maltese are an ancient breed; thought to have originated from the island of Malta and are historically documented to have been around since biblical times as a companion dog. They have a white single layer coat with black eyes and nose. Angel is a very tiny maltese puppy much smaller than I expected but her weight is normal for her age. According to her breeder she won't be any bigger than 6 or 7 lbs. Like any other puppy she is filling our lives with sunshine and adventure. Angel is an answer to prayer and I am thankful to God for the amazing providential 'circumstances' that brought her into our life. It fills me with joy and thanksgiving. Sent from my iPhone

  2. Normally these dogs are not good for young children as they are so tiny they can be injured by dropping the puppy or if the puppy jumps out of their hands but I felt that with constant supervision my five year old would be ok. My daughter loves this puppy and it is amazing how they play and are bonding together.

  3. Oh wow! I'm so happy to meet Angel! She is just precious! That sweet face just won my heart too! Such a special companion dog she will be for both of you! I truly think a home is not a home unless a dog resides there too :) We have three dogs now, lol! Give Miss Angel a pet and some love from me :)

  5. Reading through your blog from the beginning it seemed that something missing in your lives was a pet. It's so good for children to grow up with a dog or cat to love and bond with. I'm very happy this has been provided for your family. God is good.
