Protective Feathers

Just a short distance from the cabin is a ravens nest. It is located high in a tree in a grove of stately poplars. The birds began their nesting in march when the nightly temperatures still dropped to -17 degrees Celsius. One day in may when we walked by we watched a parent fly to the nest and feed a pink mouthed nestling.

My daughter drew these feathers after becoming inspired by them.

Our Lord says that He will do what a baby raven’s parent does for us. “How precious , O God, is your constant love! We find protection under the shadow of your wings.” Ps. 36:7

I am beginning weekly IV Iron treatments and I am back on oral antibiotics to hopefully deal with the restricted range of motion in my right shoulder and knee joints from chronic Lyme disease. I am trusting in Him who has my best interests at heart. ❤️
