Thankful

The phoebe’s are back. Every year that we have lived here they nest on the cabin. We often see them in the willows above spring pools of water. Their white undersides contrast sharply with the browns of the underbrush. My first Lyme relapse has ended. I am so thankful as it caused a great deal of physical pain. For the first time I am now taking two oral antibiotics at the same time. The yellow pussy willow’s are finished now but they still brighten my memories. I am thankful to God for my blessings and for the return of birds and colour to the land. “Give thanks to the Lord, for He is good; His love endures forever.” 1 Chron. 16:34
