"Don't wish me happiness I don't expect to be happy all the time....It's gotten beyond that somehow. Wish me courage and strength and a sense of humor. I will need them all." Anne Morrow Lindbergh

Prince Edward Island lighthouse tapestry #2

I have learned each day no matter what it brings is a gift from God. The question is - what will I do with it? The really dark days have made me treasure the joyful one's. I appreciate the simplicity of a good day and I put my faith in God's words to carry me through each dark day. My memories of how He has done this in my past comfort me as do the promises in the Bible. "The Lord will be your everlasting light and your days of sorrow will end." Isaiah 60:20. I see the lighthouse on the island landscape as a type of "everlasting light." Lighthouses are new for me as there were none on the island I moved from on the British Columbia coast. I feel so joyful to visit these Prince Edward island lighthouses and weave them for the spiritual significance they bring to me. (For some time I have been unable to comment on my blog or on other's so until I resolve this I will not be posting as often. However, I will continue to post sporadically. Thank you for your visits and may you be blessed.)
