I lived alone with my baby in an off-grid cabin on a remote island off the coast of British Columbia. Now I live alone on Prince Edward Island with my ten year old daughter.

Hi, I read your remarkable story. You are an amazing woman. Good luck to you and your daughter. God Bless!
ReplyDeleteThank you for your kind words and thank you for visiting my blog.
DeleteHi Teri I'm very pleased to meet you and I'm glad to know your inspired. Thank you. I'm glad my story encourages as that makes it rewarding to share.
ReplyDeleteRonda, I read your story on Nancy's blog and I am quite impressed! Pregnant and you added a floor to your cabin? I can barely work my electric staple gun properly! ;) Your work with the teens sounds very fulfilling. They are lucky to have such a generous (and talented) supporter.
ReplyDeleteI'm thrilled to meet you Kim! Thank you for being so encouraging. Carpentry is only something I do when I see it needs doing- much like firewood. Personally I'd rather be baking.
DeleteRonda! I am so glad for the chance to finally hear your story, and see the pictures of your home. You are an amazing woman, and have grit and determination that more of our world needs to have - never give up, even when life throws curve balls at you! What a blessing for you to be able to give back to the kids who need it so much, I know that has to be a very fulfilling thing for you to do. Your tapestries and weaving are amazing, and it seems you are just overflowing with talent! Blessings to you and your daughter today :)
ReplyDeleteYes I had you in mind and I'm glad you read the post! I'm just a normal woman - really. My strength comes from The Lord. He is my rock. Thank you for your sweet thoughts. Blessings to you and your family.
DeleteI was just there and am SO impressed with your story. I am going to look at the rest of your blog to learn more about you! Anita
ReplyDeleteYou are absolutely fascinating. I just ADORE your bird bath, and the little sweater you made and everything else in between. I blogged for 7 years, but had to stop this January to put time elsewhere, but I still visit blogs because of the wonderful stories I encounter, the lovely people behind the stories. I must come back next time you post! Anita
ReplyDeleteThank you for your kind words. I'm looking forwards to getting to know you and I'm glad we've met.
