I lived alone with my baby in an off-grid cabin on a remote island off the coast of British Columbia. Now I live alone on Prince Edward Island with my ten year old daughter.

A rug for Helping House
Welcome to helping house - This is my daughter's playhouse and here is a 3" by 2" rug that I wove. After weaving the rug you saw in the preceding post I flipped over my discarded picture frame (my loom) and wove this.

Fabulous! Every home needs rug and this one sure does warm up the place! I love how much detail you were able to get into a 3x2 area. Truly talented. Have fun in the playhouse! ;)
What a special gift for your daughter's Helping House! It adds such beauty to her little happy space! Sometimes I think working with tiny things is harder than the big ones! So wonderful your daughter is being encouraged to play with great imagination :)

ReplyDeleteHow sweet! The dolls and the pets are smiling, and why wouldn't they in such a happy environment as yours? xo
ReplyDeletePretty cute rug. Doll houses are so much fun! I remember the years of doll houses that sadly are way back then.
