Strength

I saw this little redpoll at my cabin window. I know it won't be long and it will be heading north to breed. I wondered about its journey. Would it survive to return another winter? I thought about my own journey with Lyme disease. And I am reminded that my strength is from the Lord. Psalm 28:1, "The Lord is my strength." And it will be sufficient. "as your days, so shall your strength be." Duet. 33:25. I can face the future as confident as a bird.
