"Don't wish me happiness I don't expect to be happy all the time....It's gotten beyond that somehow. Wish me courage and strength and a sense of humor. I will need them all." Anne Morrow Lindbergh

For Father's Day

Dear God I love you. I know you are stronger than seven husband's and in reality I just need one - you. I trust you to lead me for you are as gentle with me as the whispering wings of a fluttering butterfly. Thank you for looking out for me. Thank you for giving me strength. You overwhelm me to tears with your caring heart when you see my need and you supply it before I ask. Before it become's a worry in my heart. "Does the rain have a father? Who fathers the drops of dew?" Job 38:28. Thank you Father, Husband, Creator, God. Thank you for your love and care and for never letting me go.

  1. I AM IN TEARS because I know Him, I do. I know His care for me, I know He knows my needs and also gives them to me before I ask. WE are going to cast our crowns at His feet when we see Him; His angels are going to have to assist me to stand straight, and they will need to peel us off the glassy, golden streets, Ronda. He is KING.

Be well, enjoy what He has gifted you, and MAY HE BLESS YOU TODAY! Anita

    1. Your words bring to mind a hymn called Wonder of it all. "There's the wonder of springtime and harvest, the sky, the stars, the sun. But the wonder of wonders that thrills my soul is a wonder that's only begun. O, the wonder of it all. The wonder if it all just to think that God loves me. O, the wonder of it all! The wonder of it all just to think that God loves me. Many blessings to you Anita.

  3. I should clarify that while I actually haven't had seven husbands some days it feels like it.

  4. What a beautiful tribute to the Lord Ronda! Indeed He is our sufficiency, our All in ALL. Isn't it wonderful that He knows our needs and provides, even before we know we have a need? So wonderful isn't it! May the Lord continue to bless you with His presence :)

  6. I just came from A Joyful Cottage after reading about your home and life featured there.

Reading this post of yours has really touched my heart. I lost my dear husband (married 43 years) 30 months ago and God is now my husband.

Reading about your life and all that you do has truly inspired me to keep on living and trusting in God to lovingly take care of me.

God's continued blessings on you and your daughter and on the works of your hands.
